Lee and Shayna knew each other from college and things did not end well. Now they are both working for the Kingsmen organization. Lee is the quarterback and Shayna is a new sports trainer and the last person she wants to have anything to do with is Lee. But the second Lee sees her, he knows this is his chance to win her over and show her how sorry he is. He knows he is to blame for what happened in the past, but he is determined to show her he is a different and regretful man.
Shayna was determined and smart and he was arrogant, but also caring and charming. I loved their steamy chemistry that they could not deny and witty banter. She did not easily forgive him, but they should also not fraternize. I also love the introduction of the other team members and am very excited to see what is next in the series.
