Sweet Regret by K. Bromberg is a second chance (and more, maybe) romance with so many feels. I do not want to give too much away, but Vince and Bristol were high school sweethearts. The love and feelings they shared were there and real, but sometimes life takes you on different paths. Vince made some choices that broke them apart. Life led them down separate paths, but sometimes you find each other again, but what if it was still not your time? And then finally, maybe it is finally time?
Vince and Bristol definitely shared some steamy chemistry and a strong connection. But sometimes that is not enough. Vince made choices that hurt them both but did what he thought he had too at the time. He broke my heart, even as I was angry at him. He grew and healed so much during the story. Bristol was determined and smart. She kept a secret but thought she did what she had too as well. Their journey was emotional, heartbreaking and heartwarming and it was definitely not an easy one. I enjoyed reading it and found myself devouring it.
