I absolutely loved Mafia Target by Mila Finelli. Loved it. Giulio and Alessio were everything! I am not even sure where to begin. If you have read the previous books, you know going in the connection between these two, however, this can be read as a standalone. But I will say, it is worth reading the series! I have loved it and highly recommend it. At the start, this is an enemies to lovers story where you are at the edge of your seat waiting to see what would happen. Then everything shifts and still, I was at the edge of my seat.
If you have met Giulio in the previous books, you know he can be easy-going, likeable, and very charming. And yes, he is all that, but he is so much more and we see it here. He is strong, determined, protective and definitely il diavolo’s son. Allesio is used to being alone and a job is a job. He is determined, strong and decisive. Until he meets Giulio. Giulio changes everything. They are undeniably drawn to each other. I loved seeing their push and pull and strong chemistry and connection.
I was captivated with their journey from the start. These two were soulmates, even when they fought against this. But we all know something big is coming that could destroy everything. My heart broke right along with them. I loved this story so much and are now my second favorite couple in the series.
