Chelsea is back home and could not be more excited. All Mayson ever wanted was to live his life in peace, but instead always found himself looking over his shoulder. He had secrets that could cost him everything and the last thing he wanted was to put anyone he cared about in harm’s way. But life has a way of going wrong no matter how prepared you are. Now he is hurt and broken and Chelsea could just be what he needs to heal. But at what cost?
Mayson was so caring and protective, even with everything he has been through. I loved him, even as my heart broke for him. Chelsea was sweet, likable and compassionate. They have always been driven to each other, but Mayson knew Chelsea deserves better. But after he is hurt, she nurses him back to health and they find it harder to deny the connection they have. I loved their journey so much. It was sweet, a bit suspenseful and captivating.
