Fifty million books ago I promised you a love story about Five and his Princess.
This is their story.

Five Aston has known Rory Shrike for as long as he can remember. He played with her in the sandbox. He went to every damn horse show just to be supportive. He helped her with her French, walked her home from school, and faked his test scores just to stay with her a little longer and not be sent off to college early.
But eventually he had to move on.
And so did she.
Never has a second chance meant so much to a boy who loves a girl.

A standalone book that is also a spin-off of the Rook & Ronin Series and prequel to the Mister Series. You can read it first, you can read it last. It doesn't really matter because it's f*cking Five.

Fans of J.A. Huss have been waiting to read about Five and his Princess since they were introduced so long ago. I mean it’s f*cking Five and his Princess! And boy did she not disappoint. In her style, she gave us their story and twisted our hearts at the same time!

Five Aston and Rory Shrike have been destined to be together for as long as either can remember. They were childhood friends that were inseparable. They built their future together in their minds. How could they not ever be, right? But there was so much they did not know when they were young. Then life interfered, as is often does. Five left for college at 15 and Rory stayed behind.

Now, after being apart for six years, they come to realize they may never really be. So much stands in their way. He made a choice a long time ago that he now must honor, so he leaves, again. Left with no other choice, Rory moved on. What choice did she have? Oh my heart. I think I actually heard it shatter.

But again, its F*cking Five and his Princess. Their love story is meant to be, right? But what is the cost? The choices Five has made are finally catching up to him. What does he do? All he wants is his Princess. The one he promised to love and always protect. I loved Five. He was a force to be reckon with, as we always expected him to be, he was strong, possessive and just plain amazing. But his one vulnerability was always Rory, his Princess.

Rory Shrike was Ron the Bomb’s daughter through and through. Tough as nails, determined and strong. I loved her. Absolutely loved her. She was fierce, feisty and beautiful, but she is also smart. So very smart. She has always loved Five. Waited for him all this time, only to realize what may never be. But nothing keeps her down for long.

Now Five and Rory have the fight of their lives ahead of them. As secrets are revealed and plans put into action will Five and Rory be able to survive? Their love is what romance stories are made off, but will they have their happily-ever-after as they always dreamed off or it too late for them?

I love J.A. Huss. I cannot say this enough. She is an amazing writer with a twisted mind and I have loved every damn thing she has written. I have devoured everything she has written, but this story, this one consumed me. Five and Rory have an epic love we (her fans) have wanted to see come to life for what seems like forever and she gave us one hell of a story. You will not be disappointed. It was not all hearts and flowers, because, come on, this is J.A. Huss we are talking about. But it is Five and Rory’s story.
