I never expected to be anyone’s white knight. That’s not a role I’ve ever played.
But when the Casso crime family shifts into uncharted territory, they’re looking for a new hero, and they’re looking for me - Cannon Freeman, the black sheep.
But my time in disgrace is at an end.
It’s my turn to rise up and save the people who matter most to me.
Even if my family has never given a damn about me, I will not let them fall. More than anything, I will not let her fall.
One thing I know is true - in my life, nothing is ever what it seems.
White Knight is the conclusion of the Dirty Mafia Duet and should be listened to following Black Sheep.
The ending of Black Sheep by by Meghan March left me at the edge of my seats and I could not wait for the audiobook of White Knight, the final book in the duet, to hit my audible account. And I absolutely loved listening to every second of this audiobook. Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were absolutely amazing as Cannon and Drew. Such and amazing audio!
We start off right where we left off. Cannon now knows the truth about Drew and yet, that is the least of their worries. Cannon and Drew share an undeniable connection. As they begin to lean and trust each other, they are faced with danger all around them. Cannon knows he is the black sheep of his family, but when they need him most, will he show them the man he truly is?
Cannon and Drew are one of my top favorite characters from this author. Cannon was strong, determined, loyal and protective. Drew is torn between her initial path and her heart. Can she let Cannon into her heart despite what that would mean to what started all this? White Knight by Meghan March was fast-paced and full of suspense right from the start. I could not stop listening and yet I never wanted it to end. I loved the characters and their story so much! I must-read and/or listen for sure!
