Switch Hitter is the first time I’ve read Sara Ney and was part of the Team Player Anthology that was released a few months back.

Switch Hitter is the story of Dante, a college baseball player and Amelia, the twin to Lucy who is dating Dante and let’s be honest here, a bunch of other guys as well. Lucy asks Amelia to pretend to be her as she “double booked” herself for a date on a Friday night. Amelia decides to help her sister out and quickly comes to realize that Dante is not quite the stupid jock she thought he would be.

This was a cute, quick read about the old twin switch. There was plenty of witty banter between Amelia and Lucy and Dante was the surprise as a good guy who was quite hot! I enjoyed Dante and Amelia’s chemistry and they lit that book on fire at the end!

Switch Hitter by Sara Ney was originally included in the Team Player anthology that was released earlier this year. She has since released this novella on its own and is a quick, sexy and adorable story that sets up an upcoming series. This can be read as a standalone.

Lucy has doubled booked herself for Friday and now needs her twin, Amelia, to fill in for her on one of her two dates. Lucy is the wild sister looking to have fun. Amelia is the more serious and grounded sister. The last thing she wants is to fill in for her sister. But when Lucy is not ready to let go of Dash just yet, she convinces her sister to take her place.

Dash Amado is not a player. He may be a baseball player, but he is not looking to play the field with any girl. He wants to find someone who he can be serious with. And he knows Lucy is not the right girl. Then on their third date, and final, according to him, she seems different and he likes what he sees.

This was a quick read with great characters and chemistry. Amelia had every intention to fill in for her sister for one night and walk away. What she did not intend was to be attracted to Dash and for Dash to want more with her…um Lucy. Though most people do not see the differences between the twin sisters, he catches on them fairly quickly.

I enjoyed Switch Hitter by Sara Ney. I liked Amelia and Dash and saw the real connection between them. And who does not love a sexy Latino! Another great read from Sara Ney!
