Just One Dare by Carly Phillips was such a sweet and delightful read. This is book 5 in The Kingston Family series and though this can be read as a standalone, I have enjoyed the two previous books as well and recommend them. This second chance romance gives us Aurora Kingston and Nick Dare and their spitfire of a daughter, Leah and I read it in one sitting. Years ago, they had one night together with no names. It was an unforgettable night, but neither imagined the long-lasting outcome.
Aurora’s life has not been an easy one and remnants of that life still haunt her to this day. She was lucky that her family found her and welcomed her with open arms. Now her daughter and her have a life she never imagined. Though she believed she would never find her daughter’s father, suddenly he is back and wants both of them. Aurora was compassionate and thoughtful, but also scared. Can she trust him enough to let him in? I loved Nick. He was determined, caring and protective. Their journey was charming, sweet and a captivating read! Excited to see what comes next.
