Age is just a number.
Just like he's just a boy and I'm just a girl.
Except that's not true, is it?
Because fifteen may be a number, but it's bigger than that. Bigger than us.
It's a number that separates us.
An excuse that keeps us apart.
But I'm not willing to give in until I get what I want.
After all, how many other girls can bring a grown man to his knees with one little smile?
Genre: Taboo Forbidden Romance/Age Gap
I want to start by saying not all books are for everyone and that is okay. It happens. I read romance to get lost in stories and escape reality. I know The Truth About Tomorrow by B. Celeste will not be for everyone and again, that is okay. This is the story of Charlie and Oliver (Ollie). They have a fifteen years age gap and their story truly starts when she is 16. Something changes between them. This is a forbidden and taboo romance. It was sad, emotional, full of angst and will take you on quite the journey.
Charlie has not had an easy life. She is broken and lost but found what she needed with her adoptive family. This is where she meets Ollie. Ollie is older and though he has had a good life, he is not happy. Together they share an undeniable connection. This is a very slow burning story with all kinds of feels. The Truth About Tomorrow by B. Celeste spans years in the life of Ollie and Charlie and we get to see them struggle and grow separately and together.
