Pause by Kylie Scott is a standalone novel; however, it has characters originally introduced in Repeat. I have to say this can totally be read as a standalone without any issues, however, Repeat is probably my top favorite second chance romance ever. I loved it and have read and listened to it repeatedly and highly recommend it. In Pause, we get Leif’s story and I loved it! Leif has a big heart and is all kinds of fun, sexy and charming. Anna thought she had it all, until she didn’t. Now she is just trying to find her new normal. I absolutely loved their journey so much. This was a friends to lovers slow burn romance that captivated right from the start. The story is unique and takes us on a journey of rediscovery and second chances. Together, Leif and Anna, were amazing and I loved getting lost in their story.
