Only One Night by Natasha Madison is Manning’s story and when it hit my Kindle, I could not wait to dive in. I knew his story would be an emotional one. Though each book in the Only One series can be read as an interconnected standalone, I would highly recommend reading each one. I have loved every single one.
Manning is a good guy. He is caring, protective, determined, but also a bit lost in his life. He is in a loveless marriage and does not know how to get out without losing his son who is his world. Evelyn is ready for a fresh start. Just out of a marriage that left her dejected, she is not looking for a relationship. I loved her strength and determination.
When they meet, sparks fly, but they have no future, right? But when Manning realizes Evelyn could be all he ever wanted and needed; can he fight for what they could be? Manning and Evelyn’s journey was touching and heartbreaking. What they shared was undeniable, but they had so any obstacles. Could they find a way to be together in the end? I absolutely loved Only One Night by Natasha Madison and highly recommend it.
