Loved it! Just absolutely loved it!
Nixon and Zoe’s story in Muses & Melodies by Rebecca Yarros was absolutely amazing. Their story was emotional, touching, heartbreaking and heartfelt all at once. Though each book in the series can be read as a standalone, I do suggest reading them in order as there are some spoilers on the previous couple AND each book is definitely worth the read.
We have seen a bit of Nixon in the previous book and we know, just know, his story is going to be heart-rending. We know he is a man who is lost and carries a big secret. Zoe was the perfect woman for him. She is strong, determined and caring even as she does not take his crap. And yet, she is always there for him.
Nixon has just finished rehab and Zoe is put in charge of keeping an eye on him. She is determined to do so, as it means finally reaching her dreams. But he does not make it easy on her and when the chemistry between is sizzling, can they keep it professional? What will happen when his secrets are revealed? Will they be able to survive them? Their journey will capture your heart and never let it go. I loved it and the epilogue is everything. I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series.
