Keep This Promise by Corinne Michaels is the third book in the Rose Canyon series and I loved it. This is a small-town second chance romance that was a slow burn romance with suspense and characters we have come to love! I would highly suggest reading this series in order, as though each book is about a different couple, there is an over-arching story and is a series I highly recommend.
We start with a bang with Sophie learning she is in danger and must take her daughter and run from everything she has ever known. But things may not be as they seem. Years ago, Sophie had a one-night stand in Vegas which resulted with her daughter Eden. Now the man she married and cared for them is gone and she feels all alone. But her husband left her clues that lead her to the man that may change everything. Holden is a man who is dedicated, protective and caring. One look at Eden and he knew she was his. Now he will do whatever it takes to protect Sophie and Eden.
I loved Holden and Sophie. There was nothing more important to them than Eden and yet they could not deny what was happening between them. Their chemistry was undeniable even as danger waited for them at every turn. On the one hand, Holden is trying to the past behind him while trying to find who is hunting the woman he was coming to love and his child. I devoured the pages and though I wanted to find out how it would end, I did not want it to end. I loved Keep This Promise. It was captivating, charming and had me at the edge of my seat! A must-read for sure!
