Sleeping with the father of the bride—a former NFL player and one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors—was not part of the plan.
It was only supposed to be one night.
One night to forget.
But he made me feel wanted.
Reckless.
Alive.I’d been down this road before, and it only ended in disaster.
Was I willing to risk my heart again?
Unpredictable by Jenna Hartley is my first read by this author and I loved it. An emotional and touching age-gap romance about grief, letting go and second chances. Though this is part of a series, I did not feel lost and can definitely be read as a standalone, though I am excited to go back and read more!
Juliana needs to forget and Harrison is drawn to the woman who seems so lost. They spend one night together full of passion and neither expected to see the other again. Julianna is struggling to move forward. Letting go of her past is harder than she ever imagined and she is not sure if she can ever open her heart again. However, she is stronger than she can knows. Relationships are not in the card for Harrison, ever. He likes his life just as it is now. One of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors and a former athlete, life is good. He loves his daughter more than anything and wants her to be happy and would do anything for her. But imagine his surprise when Juliana is hired to be his daughter’s wedding planner! Can they stay away from each other? Such a great read with all the best feels!
