“I thought I’d be gone by now too, but I can’t find Hunter anywhere to say
goodbye.” Jake’s gaze eats me up. I shiver at the thought of his touch on
my skin. God, this guy emits hot sex vibes. His deep brown eyes alone,
could hypnotize me into taking off all my clothes. I bet sex with him would
be ravenous, intense, and heady. Jake seems to need an outlet for a lot of
pent up energy. I can tell by the way he moves. He stalks me like I do him.
Two predators waiting for the other to make a move. I’d gladly roll over
and submit to this lion of a man.
“They snuck out to have sex. It might be awhile.” I think about sneaking
out myself to have sex. It makes me smile. As if reading my thoughts, Jake
returns my smile. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him grin or show any emotion
besides stoic seriousness. I wish he would just rip my panties off now.
“Nice talking with you, Evie.” Just like that, he walks away. What an ass!
