Jack and Elena’s meet cute was fantastic and their overall story was full of humor, emotional moments and feisty characters. The side characters in this book also blew me away. I love that Ilsa writes characters that you can so easily understand and feel a connection with! Loved this book and highly recommend <3
Not My Romeo by Ilsa Madden-Mills is the first book in her new The Game Changers series and is a touching sports romance with characters you will love. I absolutely loved it. Jack, whom I adored, is the bad boy quarterback, or is he? . Misunderstood because of what an ex did, he does not trust easy and generally avoids putting himself out there. Especially with women. Elena is the small-town girl who will surprise you. I love how they meet and how their story progresses. And I loved how Jack would just find his way to her.
These two are just perfect together. The story was just fun, light and simply delightful. I loved Not My Romeo by Ilsa Madden-Mills and highly recommend it!
