What happens when the cute mountain man you made out with in an ice fishing shack turns out to be your brother’s best friend?
A whole lot of awkward, that’s what.
Maggie’s mind is reeling when she discovers the guy she became tangled up with at Marv’s Bait & Tackle isn’t a stranger like she thought.
The big snag: Sam and Maggie’s chemistry is hot enough to melt ice, which makes keeping their secret far more difficult than either expected.
Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.

I originally read Next In Line by Amy Daws when it was first released in eBook format and absolutely loved it. So, when I had a chance to listen to the audiobook, I jumped at the opportunity to experience Sam and Maggie all over again. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon were perfect as Sam and Maggie. They brought the characters and story to life for me in a whole new way!
We first met Sam in Wait With Me, though this can be read as a standalone, the first book is just as amazing and one I highly recommend. Sam is Miles best friend and owns the Tire Depot. I loved Sam so much. He was caring, sweet, strong and very determined. He also had a past that haunted him and steered him away from any kind of relationship with the opposite sex. And he was fine with that, even if his best friend and his girl were sweet as hell. Then he met Maggie and she changed everything!
Maggie is recently out of a relationship she thought was the one. She had already planned her entire life with her ex. But when he breaks up with her and makes her question everything about herself, she is determined to make some changes. Which is how she meets Sam at the bait shop where fists are not the only thing flying. Maggie was sweet and caring, but vulnerable after the breakup. She thought she wanted one thing, but the more time she spends with Sam, she begins to question everything.
I loved the chemistry between Sam and Maggie and their witty banter had me captivated. Next In Line is an amazing read and/or listen. I loved both so much and completely lost myself in the audio and did not want to stop listening. Erin and Teddy were amazing narrators and the characters and story consumed me!
