On paper, he's perfect. In real life, he's even better.
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, S.L. Scott, comes an intriguing Standalone Suspense Romance that has been called "Best of 2019" and "Heart-stoppingly Beautiful."
Winter Nobleman is complicated. To say the least.
It was supposed to be simple. Go to Paris, find a client's daughter, and close a multi-million-dollar deal. Easy. Then I meet her. Stormy blue eyes, quick wit, and the secrets she keeps on the tip of her tongue make me forget my mission for a moment, or six, and why I'm in Paris in the first place--to bring her home.
Distracted by her beauty, I fail to notice the others lurking with missions of their own.
Bennett Everest is the twist I never saw coming. Talk about perfect timing.
He steals my breath the first time I see him and breathes hope back into my heart. He's a giant in my eyes, a king among men with patience and love to share in spades. Six foot three. Whiskey-colored eyes. Solid gold on the inside. Despite the dirty deeds of my past, he sees the person I am meant to be and not the person I have become.
If the lies don't kill us, will the truth set us free?
I am a huge fan of S.L. Scott’s writing. No matter what genre, from rom-com to romantic suspense to everything in between, she captivates her readers from start to finish. Force of Nature was no different! Bennett Everest and Winter Nobleman were great characters and I absolutely loved their journey.
Bennett was hired by his client to find his daughter and bring her home. But when he finds her, she rocks his world in totally unexpected ways. Bennet was such an amazing man. I loved how caring and protective he was. Winter is drawn to Bennett. There is something about him that calls to her. She was a determined woman but was also a bit cagey. Things have not been easy for her, but she was not the kind of person that gave up.
I loved Force of Nature by S.L. Scott. It was such an emotional story with a bit of suspense and secrets, however, at the core it was a love story of two people just meant for each other. It may not have been the easiest of journeys, but it was their story and I devoured it.
