Viktor
My parents told me I skated before I walked. When I was eighteen I was drafted into the N.H.L third overall, playing in Los Angeles—the city of dreams. What more could I ask for? I played hard, but eventually, I partied even harder. Five years later I was traded a week after I entered rehab. There was no time for anything except my health and making sure I’d come out on top. I had to be better. There wasn’t another option.
One of the rules of recovery was ‘don’t fall in love’ and I made it a top priority. She was off limits in every single way.
Until it was too late

Zoe
When you grow up surrounded by hockey players you know one thing for sure, I was never going to settle down with one. Heck, I didn’t even know what icing was. I was too busy climbing the corporate ladder, becoming one of the most successful realtors in New York City. I wasn’t interested in dating or anything that got in my way.
First, he was my client and then he became my friend.
One night, one decision, one act can derail everything.
When push comes to shove, I’m only certain that, This is Wild.

Kim's Review
This is Wild is a story nothing like I’ve ever read. Viktor and Zoe’s story was one of friendship, love, family, and addiction. I have never met a hero quite like Viktor and I have to say, he made me cry numerous times as I just completely felt his pain. What starts out as a friendship between Viktor and Zoe is so refreshing, their banter fun, yet she never once judges him for all that he has gone through and is going through. The slow burn was absolutely fantastic and when rock bottom hits, you feel it along with the couple with every ounce of your being. Overall, I enjoyed every single moment of This is Wild and I highly recommend this book.

Liz's Review

Natasha Madison gave us light and fun with This is Crazy and I loved it. Now in book two of the series, This Is Wild, she is giving us an emotional-filled story with all the feels in this slow burning romance and I loved every second of it! Though each book can technically be read as a stand-alone, they are best read in order as the stories are very interconnected and are so worth the read!

Zoe is Zara’s twin, from book 1, and has been surrounded by hockey players all her life. She loves the men in her family that play hockey and she supports them wholeheartedly, even if she does not get the game at all. But she also knows they are not for her. Victor was on the fast track to success when his life imploded. Hockey has always been a part of who he is and yet when he is on top of his world, his partying took a dark turn. Five years later he is forced into rehab and is now in recovery. He needs to make this his priority to get back in the game he loves and to ensure he does not fail. But when Zoe and Viktor meet, their chemistry is undeniable, even if they try to deny at every turn.

On a side note, I have to say I am completely in love with the Grant/Stone family. I want to adopt them and make them mine. I love their interactions, friendly and teasing banter and the love they all clearly share for one another. This is Wild by Natasha Madison is an emotional story that will touch you heart, even if it breaks it at times. I loved Zoe and Viktor and seeing them do what they thought was best, even when they wanted more. They had a great support system and their journey, though not easy, was engaging from start to finish.

About Natasha Madison

Natasha Madison

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals.

You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips.

It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
