When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.

Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs.

But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.

Tucker might be my friend and roommate but he's also my best friend's ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that's what my brain is telling me, my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

My Best Friend’s Ex by Meghan Quinn was such a fun read. I have been on a romantic comedy fix lately and it’s always fun to find new authors who do it so well.  It was such a fun, sexy read that was so charming. I laughed so much.

When Emma Marks finds herself homeless in her last semester of school, she finds help in the form of her friend, Tucker Jameson. This is just what she needs. She gets to finish school and her roommate is her friend and still hung up on his ex. She moves in and they set rules. Easy enough, right?

But then she finds herself lusting after Tucker as they spend time together and lines get blurred. Now there is all this sexual tension just waiting to explode. But she cannot forget he is her best friend’s ex. Off limits, right?

I loved these characters. I found Emma to be smart and feisty and loved her bantering! She had me laughing outload. Tucker was hurt from his breakup, but with Emma, you could see him opening up. As he did, he was sweet and charming.

I loved seeing Emma and Tucker transition from awkward roommates, to tension-filled moments, to chemistry dripping of the page. But even as they struggle with what is happening between them, they are not able to fight it. But is Tucker ready to move on?

I really enjoyed My Best Friend’s Ex. I found it charming, fun and sexy, but also full of emotion. It was such a good read and I am looking forward reading more from this author.
