This is only the second book I’ve read by these two authors and I’ve got to say, I’m hooked! The Right Stud is a fun read full of sexiness, laughs and drama all rolled into one! I love a good rom com and I couldn’t put it down!
The Right Stud by Ilsa Madden-Mills & Tia Louise was a sweet and charming romantic comedy with a touch of angst. I loved the story and chemistry between Ashton and Jax.
Ashton feels like she has lost so much. She lost her grandmother and found out her fiancé had been cheating on her. She wants to put it all behind her and move on. She is focusing on renovating her Granny’s old beach house into a B&B, but it was left to both her brother and herself. Hoping to change her brother’s mind about selling the house, she reaches out to the host of The Right Stud to help her.
Jax Roland is hoping to follow his dream. His day job pays the bills, but his goal is to launch his online show on a network channel. His best chance is the woman who reached out to renovate her old beach out. I loved Jax. Jax loves his bachelor status. He enjoys the ladies, but even so, he is sweet and charming. A good guy overall.
What an interesting beginning! Jax and Ashton meet without knowing who they really. Jax promises Ashton, he will come back after a scorching kiss, but then proceeds to blow her off. He has a valid explanation, but she never gets to hear it. She is determined to never have anything to do with him, because what are the chances she will see him again. Imagine her surprise when he the host to the Right Stud and the man she asked for help renovating her beach house into a B&B.
And so, begins this sweet and charming story of two people who were not ready for each other, but have intense chemistry. Ashton is afraid to let her guard down after being hurt before, but somehow, he begins to break down her defenses. But Jax has secrets that can destroy everything they are building together.
I truly enjoyed reading The Right Stud by Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise. It was funny, sexy and had a touch of angst. I devoured this book and loved the characters so much. Jax and Ashton had a great connection. This was a great read!
