At eighteen, I stood at the precipice of stardom. I had the record deal. And the tour to back it up. But I succumbed to the pressure of that life. The dark side.

Now, I skate on the fringe. My brother is the genius guitarist for the band Caged, and I’m the one who helped make that happen. I’m happy to run my bars and my land development company.

Sure I am.

And then I meet her—Taryn Ayers—the music manager behind the three biggest bands in the country. She doesn’t know I’m Cam’s older brother. Or that I’ve got a secret that makes her world and mine fundamentally incompatible.
Problem is, I want to know Taryn.

But do I want her to know me?

Lost For You is a STAND ALONE New Adult Romance.

Title: Lost for You
Series: Sixth Street Bands #4
Author: Jayne Frost
Genre: New Adult
Release Date: January 12, 2018

Lost For You by Jayne Frost is the fourth book in the Sixth Street Bands series, but the first book I have read. This can be read as a standalone, however, I am sure there was a lot of background I was not aware off, but did not feel lost while reading.

Both Chase Noble and Taryn Ayers carry demons from their past. Moving forward is not easy for them. Their chemistry was instant, but the more time they spend together, the harder it will be to hide those demons. I found Taryn to be a strong and independent woman, but hiding so much. Chase was lost and broken, but working hard to be the man he wanted to be.

This story deals with struggles faced by those in the music industry and the affects it leaves on everyone around you. It was honest and real and drew me right in. I must say I truly enjoyed Taryn and Chase’s journey, as difficult and heartbreaking as it was at times. It was emotional and a bit angsty, but their connection was so strong. There are some tough themes in this story, addiction, loss and so on, but their story is also about hope and redemption.

This was such a roller coaster of a ride, but what that pulled me in was the struggles the characters faced, and their journey through it. The story was emotional, but also uplifting. I am definitely going back and reading the previous books and looking for more to come.
