I loved Glamour: Contemporary Fairytale Retellings. This was an anthology of never-before-seen novellas from A.L. Jackson, Sophie Jordan, Aleatha Roming, Skye Warren, Lili St. Germain, Sierra Simone, and Nicola Renddell. They gave us modern retellings of some of our favorite fairytales. Some authors were old favorites I read all the time and others were new to me authors that I will read going forward.
In this anthology, we get a modern version of Twelve Dancing Princesses, Sleeping Beauty, The Prince and the Pauper, A Princess and the Pea, Goldilocks, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel. Some were sexy, some were sweet, others emotional and some were a mix of these. And all of them were just plain steamy! But each story was amazing and will quickly draw you in.
Some of the stories were a bit on the darker side, but fans of Sierra Simone, Skye Warren and Aleatha Roming will dive right in! This is a great, quick read with several short stories to satisfy everyone. Each author gave us their version of a fairytale with a twist and sexy times. Another summer must read!
