Micah Preston is Hollywood’s #1 sex symbol.

A rich and famous actor who has sworn off any serious relationships, the playboy is the media’s favorite bachelor.

But he wasn’t anybody when Maddie Bauer met him seven years ago. Then he was just the hot guy at the party who gave her an amazing orgasm and never called her again.

Now her job as a camera assistant has landed her on the set of his latest movie, and despite her vow to ignore his charm, she finds him pulling her focus.

She just has to make it through the shoot without landing in his bed. But when the legendary bad boy sets his sights on her, how can she possibly resist?

The book was previously published under the title Take Two.

I absolutely loved Sex Sybol by Laurelin Paige. I found it to be a more lighthearted story and could not put it down.

Maddie Bauers graduated and is very focused and knows what she wants out of her career. She is determined to achieve her goals. She has been so focused on the future and her studies, that she has not let herself enjoy life. Then she meets Micah Preston at a party on the night she graduates and she finally lets herself go and has an experience she never forgets.

Now seven years later, Micah is the hottest actor in Hollywood and also one of its biggest playboys. He has never forgotten Maggie-from-the-party, but decided to put work first. Now they are working together on his next film and the chemistry between them has not only simmered, but come to a boil.

There is some angst on how will this work and Micah’s preconceived notions of relationships in Hollywood not being real, but you see what they feel for each other and how they struggle to come to terms with it.

Sex Symbol is so worth the read and you get an amazing story. Once again we see why Laurelin Paige is good at what she does! I am already waiting for her next book! So yes, I would definitely recommend this book.

I love a good second chance romance story and Sex Symbol was the perfect fit for me!

Maddie and Micah meet at a party, right as Maddie was graduating. Micah was an up and coming movie star, but Maddie didn’t have a clue. They had instant chemistry and while shared one hell of a hot moment, the moment was lost because of a drunken girlfriend.

Several years later, Maddie is just not where she dreamed she would be but is doing the best with what she has. Micah, however, is now one of the most famous actors in the world. Once he sees Maddie-from-the-party again, he is instantly drawn to her and all bets are off.

Micah doesn’t believe a relationship in Hollywood can make it and Maddie, the hopeless romantic, doesn’t want to be another notch in the bedpost for this famous star. Can the camera assistant and the jaded movie star make a life together with all of Hollywood breathing down their necks?

My emotions were all over the place with this book. I simply adored Micah and Maddie, however, my heart broke for each of them. Maddie and the troubles she has gone through and Micah for believing that love can’t happen for him. Then there was the banter between Micah and his bodyguard/friend, Fudge? I laughed so hard my kids thought I was crazy. The mistakes that they made had me reaching for that kleenex box knowing tears would be falling for the love that should have happened so effortlessly and without question. The doubt and fear from both characters in this book was so real, it felt like real life. All of that combined, well, it made for one hell of a book.

I also LOVED the fact there was no epilogue so in my own mind, I can imagine how Maddie and Micah’s story continues.

Absolutely wonderful!

Please note, Sex Symbol was previously published under the title Take Two.
