What is the Bastard Bachelor Society?

It’s a gentleman’s club—like the dignified men of the past used to have.

Except, we’re not gentleman, and we’re not dignified.

We’re ineligible bachelors; bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually…

We’re so committed to being single, we’ve created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest. Rules are involved. Prizes.

Laugh it up, but I’m no loser.

Enemy number one to my single status? My irresistible neighbor, Abbott Margolis. She with her evil cat Desdemona, and Sexy AF pencil skirts. She’s kind and beautiful and hilarious. We can’t get involved, no matter how much her meddling grandmother pushes us together. But if I was going to lose this bet for anyone? It would for Abbott.

Let’s face facts: I’m a bastard, unwilling to settle down.

Especially when there’s a bet to win.

Liz's Review

Bastard Bachelor Society by Sara Ney is the first book in her The Bachelors Club series. The Bastard Bachelor Society is a group of guys determined to stay bachelors. No commitments and the one who can do it the longest will win the best each has to offer. Easy enough, right? That is until you meet the woman that will change everything!

Brooks was the brains behind the club and because of him, his friends committed as well. Then he meets Abbott. Abbot and Brooks were neighbors but had not met until after the formation of the society. They start out as friends who just hang out, but can they keep it light and friendly? As they spend more time together, lines begin to blur. I loved seeing Abbott give it right back to Brooks and call him out when needed and seeing Brooks try and fight what was happening with Abbott. But there is no way he is going to lose, right? A fun and light read and I am excited to see what is to come in this series!
