Hard lessons learned at an early age made me the success I am today, and I would never yield having the upper hand. Then Grace swept into my life. She’s beautiful, funny, and has a big heart that could only be broken by a guy like me. But I want her. She might be the biggest risk I’ve ever encountered, with the biggest stakes.

Life in a fishbowl isn’t easy, especially when it comes to dating. I attract a lot of losers simply because I’m nice. And if a better prospect comes along, there’s my dad, ready to send them running with just a look. Until Jaxson. He’s bold and sexy. But I can tell he’s withholding a piece of himself from me, and I'm an all or nothing kind of girl.

Against the Rules by M.E. Montgomery is a sweet story about two very different people with very opposing views when dealing, or not dealing, with relationships. Grace is full of sass, funny and very caring. Jax does not trust easily, but he is a strong man. He was sexy, determined and so very confident.

I loved the banter between Grace and Jax and they had great chemistry. Could Grace and Jax set their differences aside and go against the rules each has set for themselves? I enjoyed reading Against the Rules by M.E. Montgomery. It was a story that was sweet and sexy with two great characters.

M.E. Montgomery has been an avid reader her entire life, and after falling in love with so many characters created by other authors, a new one began to form in her head. With the support of her family, she decided to to write it.

She is the homework queen to her four school aged children who think she is a genius in math, science, history and spelling. Fortunately, her biology and elementary school teaching background help her to keep up the expert façade, at least for now.
